Herut in Hungary
Herut represents the conservative views in Israeli politics in Hungary .
We believe that every resident of Israel has the undisputable right to live in peace and security. This is the most important issue now and there is no need to find new solutions, it is enough to stand up and defend the Jewish land, including the settlements. Israel is not to be divided up, it is the homeland of the Jewish people. Jerusalem is Jewish, that is not debatable, there is nothing to negotiate about that. If Arabs wish to live on the land of Jews, than they should become loyal subjects and respect its laws.
Since our enemies are not inclined to observe what is stated in the Oslo Agreement, it is no longer valid.
The Herut here in Hungary, or anywhere else is an organization where any Jew could find a place, let him or her be religious or lesser observant, young or old. Anyone is welcome who is interested in Israel's present and future.
Our youth organization is dedicated to train a new generation of Jewish leadership in Israel and in the Diaspora as well.
We issue a free weekly Internet bulletin in the Hungarian language, in which one can find news about Israel that is not available in Hungary otherwise.
