Weinraub, Yehuda (Dr.)

Yehuda Weinraub, holds a Ph.D. in French Literature and Semitic Studies from Cornell University. A former University lecturer, and a reserve lieutenant-colonel, he has served in the career army, in the IDF Spokesman's Unit for close to 20 years. He was the founder and editor-in-chief of the IDF Journal, and the IDF website. He has published widely on literature, political and military affairs and is the author of a book on French literature (which was published by the University of North Carolina Press). From 1987 to 1989, Dr. Weinraub, on leave from the army headed the Jewish Agency's Israel Aliyah Center for the midwest USA. He currently works in the Jewish Agency Spokesman's Office.
