Klein Halevi, Yossi

Yossi Klein Halevi is a contributing editor and Israel correspondent of the New Republic, and a columnist for the Jerusalem Post. He has been a regular contributor on Israeli affairs to the Los Angeles Times, and an occasional contributor to the New York Times and the Washington Post.

He is author of "At the Entrance to the Garden of Eden: A Jew's Search for God with Christians and Muslims in the Holy Land," published in 2001 by Morrow. The Los Angeles Times wrote: "Seldom has a religiously themed book been as prescient and deserving of attention." The novelist Cynthia Ozick called it “a permanent masterwork.”

He is currently writing a book about the Israeli paratroopers who reunited Jerusalem in 1967 and what happened to them over the next 35 years.
