Yaron, Zvi

Zvi Yaron z"l (1922-1978) combined profound classical and modern Jewish scholarship, scientific and philosophical erudition and active involvement in the realization of the Zionist vision. His leadership of Brit Halutzim Datiim in England during World War II and after culminated in the establishment of Kibbutz Lavee. An eminent educator and original thinker, his wide-ranging literary contributions appeared in the preeminent Jewish journals in Hebrew and in English.
