Herzl Center - Interactive Institute for Zionist Education

The staff of the Herzl Center looks forward to complementing your hour-long experiential visit to the Herzl Museum with a custom-designed program of engaging seminars, creative workshops, and stimulating walking tours.

Program themes revolve around Herzl and the Zionist enterprise today, including the present challenge of fashioning Israel as an exemplary society both Jewish and democratic.

All sessions are interactive and incorporate a variety of methodologies, such as text study, drama, role-playing, and debate.

The walking tours can include Herzl's tomb, Israel's national military cemetery, and the final resting place of Israel's highest office holders and the great leaders of the Zionist movement.

The Herzl Center offers activities appropriate for groups of adults, families, educators, students, and teenagers, ranging in duration from 1 hour to 3 days. The longer programs can include visits to neighboring Yad Vashem (Israel's official Holocaust Memorial), the Knesset, and other relevant sites in and around Jerusalem.

Educational programs are available only by prior arrangements.
