The Zionist Congress

The supreme body of the World Zionist Organization and its highest authority, the first Congress was convened in Basle by Theodor Herzl in 1897, and is now held every four years in Jerusalem

The Zionist General Council (ZGC - Vaad Hapoel)

Elected by the Zionist Congress, this is the ongoing legislative institution of the WZO that convenes annually.

This body meets regularly, representing the Zionist General Council before internal and outside bodies.

The Executive of the World Zionist Organization (WZO)

The Executive is the executive institution of the WZO. It handles daily work of the Zionist Movement in the Diaspora, in the Zionist Federations, regarding Hasbara and formal and informal education.

The Zionist Supreme Court

The judicial arm of the WZO, this court adjudicates on disputes within and between Zionist federations around the world, and in matters relating to Zionist activity and representation brought before it by individual members of the Zionist bodies.

The Attorney of the World Zionist Organization (WZO)

The Attorney of the World Zionist Organization and his Deputies are elected by the Congress.

The Zionist Federation

The territorial Zionist Federation is generally a roof organization that organizes all the Jewish organizations defining themselves as Zionists and individual Zionists who have signed the "Jerusalem Program" and who accept the Constitution of the Federation.
